Beneath the Thread

A Creative Journey in Collage, Cloth & Tender Repair

From Fragment to Form: Your Journey in Collage

What do we carry, stitch, mend, or let go?

In this signature workshop, you’ll be invited into a slow, soulful practice of layering paper, cloth, and memory. We’ll explore how worn fabrics, hand-painted textures, and simple threads become vessels for personal stories.

Through gentle guidance, hands-on techniques, and poetic reflection prompts, you’ll create deeply personal collages that honor imperfection, emotion, and the beauty of what remains.

What You’ll Experience:

Mixed media artwork depicting a pocket on fabric with colorful patterns and textures.
  • Gather meaningful materials: worn cloth, textured and handpainted paper, found objects

  • Explore techniques: stitching, layering, composition

  • Develop your voice: through color, mark making, and personal symbolism

  • Create with presence: using slowness and ritual as creative tools

  • Reflect and document: with a beautiful downloadable workbook

Who It’s For:

This workshop is for you if you:

  • Feel drawn to intentional, hands-on creative practice

  • Are curious about storytelling through materials

  • Want to reconnect with a slower, more grounded creative rhythm
